Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aimed at improving learner progression.
  
• Collaborate with vocational departments to integrate English language skills into broader subject areas.
  
• Track and record student progress attendance and engagement using digital platforms.
  
• Work towards achieving high retention and qualification success rates.
  
• Engage with learners guardians regarding progress both via email and during scheduled meetings.
  
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes wellbeing and adheres to safeguarding protocols.
  

Essential Criteria:

• Experience teaching English to Further Education (FE) learners.
  
• Ability to embed English language skills in practical vocational contexts.
  
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills and a proactive solutionfocused approach to classroom management.
  
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent; a degree or relevant qualification in English is required.
  
• A Level 5 teaching qualification is preferred but not essential for candidates with substantial experience.
