Job Description

Our Client is a leading private school known for its excellence and outstanding academic records. They are searching for a dedicated and experienced English Language teacher to join their team. As an English Language Teacher your responsibilities include planning lessons and developing curricula providing academic support to students and ensuring a safe learning environment.


Responsibilities:
  • Reading all prescribed novels poetry and additional resources to gain a thorough understanding of them before developing lesson plans and curricula.
  • Preparing students for formal and informal assessments.
  • Grading tests assignments exams and other assessments.
  • Ensuring all curriculum school and state requirements are met.
  • Assessing student needs and providing support or extra resources to struggling students.
  • Using technology to improve lesson delivery and recordkeeping.
  • Developing teaching materials and teaching aids

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in English literature or a similar discipline.
  • A minimum of 23 years teaching experience is recommended.
  • A strong interest in literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience and the ability to work with others.
