Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for the Med Surg department in Columbus GA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care solid experience in bedside nursing and a commitment to providing highquality medical support to patients in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including administering medication monitoring patient conditions and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Assist with patient assessments treatments and evaluations.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
MustHaves:
- 1.5 years of bedside nursing experience.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- Active GA RN License or Multistate License (MSL).
NicetoHaves:
- Experience working with patient ratios of 4:1 or 6:1.
- Additional certifications like Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
