Location: Fully Remote (Preference for GMT+3 timezone or nearby)

Contract Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential for extensions

Compensation: $10-$15 per hour (Gross)

Language Requirements: Fluent in Arabic and English

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in architecting and maintaining scalable cloud solutions on AWS. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cloud Architecture: Design and implement robust cloud infrastructures that can scale with our needs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Automation and Tooling: Build and automate cloud tools that facilitate efficient service level agreements (SLAs), enhancing operational efficiency.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to drive improvements in DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

• Risk Management: Develop and oversee strategies related to risk management, including disaster recovery plans and ensuring high availability of services.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform and modern DevOps tools like Kubernetes and Docker to create and manage infrastructure as code, ensuring consistency and efficiency in deployments.

Who You Are:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in cloud infrastructure or software engineering, demonstrating a solid understanding of cloud environments.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud networking is essential for the role. You should be comfortable navigating complex cloud architectures.

• IaC and Automation Tools: Experience with infrastructure as code methodologies and automation tools, particularly Terraform, is crucial for this position.

• Remote Work Adaptability: You must be comfortable working remotely and have a proven track record of accountability, ownership, and self-motivation.
