You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking an ideal candidate to take on the role of Project Manager, responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects while adhering to established budgets, timelines, and scopes. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are executed smoothly and effectively, while also communicating progress and updates to stakeholders, clients, and team members.
Managerial Skills:
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in preparing project documentation, which includes daily and weekly status updates as well as comprehensive monthly progress reports. A key responsibility will be to review reports from survey contractors and provide recommendations to the Project Management Office (PMO). The candidate will need to maintain effective communication and coordination with survey contractors and the PMO regarding daily activities, ensuring that feedback sessions are conducted regularly and as needed.
Team building is crucial for achieving project objectives, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in this area. They will also be tasked with coordinating support from offshore teams to ensure timely assistance. Conducting internal and external process workflow audits will be essential to identify and mitigate any deviations from project plans. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring all deliverables are met on time and will communicate the daily status of the project to the RMSI management team.
Technical Skills:
In terms of technical expertise, candidates should possess knowledge of aerial image processing and 3D modeling, including the extraction of topographical data from aerial images. Familiarity with topographical surveys is also essential, as is a solid understanding of quality control and quality assurance processes and procedures. Proficiency in tools such as Erdas Pro600, Microstation, Pix4D, QGIS, and ArcGIS is required. Knowledge of Trimble and Leica GPS/DGPS receivers, as well as Total Station equipment, is advantageous.
Experience in projects located in the Middle East is preferable, as it provides valuable context for the unique challenges and requirements of the region. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in project management, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project delivery in complex environments.
