We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer for an exciting 6-month rolling contract opportunity with a dynamic payments Fin-tech company. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be working with cutting-edge technologies, primarily focusing on microservices and event-driven architecture. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing robust systems that can efficiently handle the growing demands of the business. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new services while maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.

Essential Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

1. Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java or Kotlin is essential, as these will be the primary languages used in development.

2. Frameworks: A solid understanding of Spring Boot is required, as it will be integral to the microservices architecture.

3. Event-Driven Architecture: Candidates should have a strong grasp of event-driven architecture principles, ideally with hands-on experience using Apache Kafka or similar technologies. Your ability to design systems that effectively utilize events for communication between services will be key.

4. Microservices Development: Previous experience in building and managing multiple microservices is crucial. You should be familiar with best practices for developing, deploying, and maintaining microservices in a production environment.
