Job Description

Electricians at Team Electric play a crucial role in the installation of marine cables and equipment as well as the setup and connection of ship electrical systems. We are seeking candidates with strong technical expertise meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical wiring equipment and fixtures according to specifications and local codes.
  • Connect wires to ship equipment including lighting PA systems fire alarms sensors and sockets.
  • Test electrical systems and circuits for functionality using appropriate testing devices.
  • Inspect electrical components and systems to detect hazards defects or the need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to shipboard equipment.

Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Proficient in time management.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Effective problemsolving and analytical abilities.
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Education Training & Experience:

  • Preferred experience in shipyard or industrial settings.
  • Flexibility for overtime weekends and varying shifts.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the European Union is essential.
