About the job

This is a oneyear limited contract with the potential for extension. We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our #MostAweomeTeam. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preliminary recording and approval of incoming invoices
• Set up payments weekly
• Post receivables payables and bank transactions into the accounting system DATEV
• Support account reconciliation
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements at both individual and group levels
• Gain deep insights into the account of our corporate group expanding your knowledge
• Prepare monthend transactions for the Japanese subsidiary (no Japanese skills are needed)

Bring to the team

• Hold a completed commercial apprenticeship or pursue a Bachelors or Masters degree in finance
• Bring practical experience in accounting and have worked with DATEV or comparable ERP system
• Demonstrate an independent diligent and efficient working style paired with strong teamwork skills
• Excellent in MS Excel
• Good German and English language skills both spoken and written
