Shift Notes: 8 HR Shifts but must have the flexibility to work a day shift as needed 40 hrs guarantee
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Every Other Holiday

Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY LOCAL TRAVELERS FOR THIS NEED (who reside within 50 miles of the facility)
** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). RTO during this block will not be approved.

** SOCIAL WORKER FOR THIS NEED WILL BE EXPECTED TO PERFORM FAICITIY CRISIS EVALUATIONS IN THE ED/ER.
** THE CLIENT IS ONLY GOING TO CONSIDER CANDIDATES WHO ARE CONSIDERED TO BE INDEPENDENT SOCIAL WORKERS IN THE TRAVELERS RESPECTIVES.
** TRAVELER MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PHYSICAL (Work without restrictions fit for duty)
The Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) clinician is an independently licensed behavioral health professional who works as a member of the primary care team(s) within BFS practices.
The role of the BHI clinician is to work collaboratively with the primary care team to ensure that the BH care needs of patients are met. Behavioral health needs in this context include but are not limited to specific BH symptoms and suspected psychiatric illness.
BH needs may also include behavioral and emotional factors that influence patients physical health and wellness.
The BHI clinician assists the primary care patients and teams in the following ways: administration of BH screening measures assistance in the interpretation of screening results and provision of brief treatment to patients. With a focus on assessment stabilization and evidencebased brief treatment the BHI clinician will see the patient throughout 46 sessions.
Patients in need of care beyond the 4 to 6 sessions will be assisted with referral and connection to an appropriate resource for care in the community. BHI clinicians will be expected to maintain a productivity level of 75% or 6 hours/day of direct clinical care.
In addition the BHI clinician regularly provides consultation and support to the primary care team regarding BH issues that arise in the routine care of primary care patients.
The BHI clinician will work closely with a psychiatric provider to assist patients in need of a psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and/or psychotropic medication as well as to facilitate communication between the psychiatric provider and the primary care team regarding treatment recommendations.
