As a SailPoint IdentityIQ Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance identity governance within the organization. This role demands a deep understanding of SailPoint IdentityIQ, with at least six years of hands-on experience in configuring and customizing the platform for entitlement management, access certifications, and privileged access management (PAM).
Key Responsibilities:
Authentication and Authorization: You'll gain a comprehensive understanding of how IdentityIQ handles authentication and authorization mechanisms, ensuring robust security protocols are in place.
Encryption and Secure Communication: You should possess knowledge of secure communication protocols, which is critical for safeguarding sensitive information.
Custom Development: Your expertise in programming languages such as Java, J2EE, SQL, and scripting languages like BeanShell and Groovy will enable you to develop custom rules and workflows. This is essential for tailoring the platform to meet specific organizational needs.
Technical Troubleshooting: You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to LDAP, Active Directory (AD), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), ensuring seamless access management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with business analysts, UX designers, and QA testers, you'll ensure that identity management solutions are user-friendly and aligned with business objectives.
Audits and Assessments:
You will conduct access and security audits to identify vulnerabilities within existing systems. This involves detailed technical research, data analysis, and creating accessible reports that inform stakeholders of potential risks. Based on your findings, you'll provide suitable solutions to enhance security measures.
Access Control Modernization:
Evaluating existing access control protocols will be a key part of your role. You will modernize access management processes, incorporating solutions like single sign-on and multi-factor authentication to enhance user security and experience.
IAM Solutions Design and Implementation:
Your role will also involve designing, configuring, and implementing comprehensive identity and access management solutions. This includes developing tools for user onboarding/offboarding, user provisioning, and managing privileged accounts effectively.
