Parsons is seeking a talented and motivated Co-op Trainee - Industrial to join our dynamic team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management environment. As part of our team, you'll be involved in various projects that make a real impact in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will utilize a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings, including basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, and isometrics. You will work from rough sketches and general engineering information, adhering to established standards and procedures. Your familiarity with technical manuals and directives will ensure compliance with relevant codes and company policies. It’s important to become acquainted with various standards, such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME, to maintain high-quality output.
In addition, you will compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations necessary for the preparation of your drawings. This hands-on experience will be invaluable as you develop your skills and understanding of the engineering process. You may also take on additional responsibilities associated with this position as needed, providing a well-rounded experience in the field.Minimum Clearance Required To Start

Required Skills
To qualify for this role, you must be enrolled in an accredited Engineering curriculum at a college or university and have completed at least one year of studies in a major engineering discipline, particularly in Industrial Engineering. Your educational background will be essential as you apply theoretical concepts in a practical setting.
Desired Skills
A working knowledge of CAD and other relevant PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required. Proficiency in these tools will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our projects.
