Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will optimize our manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging your expertise in production methods to ensure that our operations are efficient, safe, and aligned with industry standards. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to identify opportunities for enhancement and develop innovative solutions that contribute to our overall success.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures that enhance efficiency and productivity. Conducting time studies and analyzing production data will allow you to pinpoint areas for improvement, ensuring that our operations remain competitive and responsive to market demands. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, emphasizing manufacturability and cost-effectiveness from the outset.

Leading and supporting process improvement projects will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Additionally, you will train and mentor production personnel on best practices and standard operating procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.

Quality control is paramount, and you will support the implementation of robust measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitoring and optimizing equipment performance will also be part of your responsibilities; you will troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.


Desired candidate profile

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment is essential, as is a solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and testing. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, is required to facilitate the design and analysis of manufacturing systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are critical, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies will be a distinct advantage.
