Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)
Start Date: 10/15/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Keene NH 03431
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights 12
Shift Notes: 12hr NIGHTS 7p7a 36 hrs/week
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend /Holidays required if needed
OnCall Requirements: No Scheduled Calls (Call only when there is low census)
COVID19/FLU Requirement: Covid vaccinations are strongly recommended but not required
Traveler Policy: LOCAL TRAVELERS (those who reside within 50 miles of the facility) WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED.

# of beds: 20 a newly renovated Emergency department with stateoftheart monitors and communication devices.
Nursetopatient ratio: 1:5
EMR: EPIC
Dress code: Travelerprovided professional scrubs (no logos)
Trauma Level: III
Patient population: NewbornGeriatric
** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
** Travel pairs will be considered but must be able to work different shifts and have transport to the hospital.
- Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult life cycle utilizing knowledge of agerelated growth and development to individualize the nursing process and functioning following the nursing philosophy and objectives the standards of care and the standards of practice.
- Must be comfortable with drips and vents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively.
- The key to Emergency Medical Services is the relationship between the Emergency Department staff and the rescuers.
- Working as a team our prehospital emergency department and inhospital personnel rely on each other completely. From first responder to ambulance crew to paramedic to emergency room staff to trauma surgeon there is no separation in our efforts.
- 2 years of current ED experience (more experience first consideration!) Required
- Prior travel experience
- EPIC experience
- BSN Preferred
