Role: Perimeter Security (ASM)
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a highly skilled networking professional with experience as a Perimeter Security (ASM) with comprehensive IP Network knowledge who performs endtoend services for clients using a consultative approach.
Years of experience needed
Candidate must have overall 812 years of experience in medium and largescale network enabled enterprises.
Technical Skills:
The Infrastructure Engineer must have a minimum of 5 years of Network Security and Infrastructure experience
The network engineer must 35 years of handson experience in installation migration and decommission of F5 Load balancing technologies (GTM LTM ASM APM AFM).
Relevant 35 years of handson experience in Cisco networking technologies (routing/switching) and firewall products and technologies
Experience with forward or reverse proxy technologies is a plus.
Crossteam coordination and collaboration to ensure end to end project delivery.
Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting languages: Python Unix
SelfStarter who can take initiative and has the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Organized and able to follow JPMC processes designed to minimize risk to the environment
Must have strong communications skills both written and verbal
Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills with clear communication
Strong work ethic with a resultsoriented mindset
Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals
Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environment
F5 certifications are preferred but not required; equivalent experience is acceptable
Strong work ethic in a missioncritical 24x7 diverse environment with multiple vendor/customer relationships.
Flexible to work in off hours/weekends.
Flexible to work in 24x7 oncall rotation.
Process Skills:
Add Change delete policybased requests on daily basis on one of the LTM/GTM/AFM/ASM
Add Change delete policybased requests on daily basis on one of the firewall vendors (Fortinet/Checkpoint/Palo Alto) or Orchestration tools like Tufin/Algosec
Analysing network traffic on firewalls load balancing and other adjacent devices.
Should be able to identify connectivity drop along the network path.
Ensure the configuration of rules are as per security standards.
Participate in security audits and risk assessments.
Develop and maintain documentation for load balancing policies and procedures.
Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies.
Respond to security incidents and investigate potential security breaches.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot load balancing/firewalls issues.
Flexible to work in off hours/weekends.
Flexible to work in 24x7 oncall rotation.
