Hello
Position: Analytics Developer
Position Type: Contracttohire position.
This is a 100% remote position
Position Type: Contracttohire position on W2 Contract only
Key items:
Responsibilities:
Translate business needs into technical specifications.
Develop design and maintain efficient data dashboards reports and datasets adhering to industry best practices.
Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets
Perform source data analysis data profiling validation conceptual and logical data modeling etc. to determine the suitability of the source data for meeting program reporting requirements.
Create scripts for data comparisons and automated validations of reports for anomalies.
Develop maintainable code via proper structures comments and design using best practices.
Thoroughly validate the reports data being presented to build trust in the BI solutions provided to end users.
Create and maintain dashboards reports and data visualizations and finetune the performance of queries.
Collaborate with analysis design data modelling data staging and report development
Review interpret troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries.
Provide feedback as needed to internal and external resources that provide source data.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of business intelligence technologies.
Meet with subject matter experts in different areas of the business be able to learn the concepts and business language relevant to their line of business and develop an understanding of how their data supports their business processes.
Analyze and validate data sharing requirements with internal and external data partners.
Ensure data privacy security and compliance with relevant regulations in all data analytics activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Mathematics or a related field and 2 years of prior experience in data engineering field.
Familiarity with data modeling schema design and data warehousing principles.
Strong foundation in designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
Experience with big data analytics and stream processing frameworks.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Solid understanding of relational databases tools and platforms (Oracle PostgreSQL Amazon RDS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Indepth level of understanding and experience to design and develop Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure preferred) and proficiency in deploying and managing data solutions in cloud environments.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or Scala and experience with data manipulation and transformation frameworks (e.g. Apache Nifi Elastic Search ERWIN and Hazelcast).
Knowledge of data governance security and compliance practices.a
