Overview
TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries worldwide.
Position: UX Web Designer
Location: New York NY 10119
Duration: 9 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Remote
Job Description:
- Designs that help align and center teams around web pages and functions that create engagement and conversion.
- Own and consult on design direction based upon research driven insights
Leverage data to identify and prioritize problems friction and opportunities for maximum design impact - Demonstrate skill and creativity in selecting the right mix of research design and visualization methods to remove obstacles or create alignment and drive engagement and conversions.
- Adapt stateoftheart web design practices and frameworks in the industry and develop our own cuttingedge approaches through experimentation and iteration
- Find new and better designs to communicate strategic web content and function
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support web producers on layout
- Create Figma mockups for all new pages
- Work if needed with design team to create new layouts
- Leverage engagement data for new pages
- Consult on design direction based upon research driven insights
- Leverage data to identify and prioritize problems friction and opportunities for maximum design impact
- Work on web optimization and migration projects as needed.
WHO YOULL WORK WITH:
- A senior web team of producers who will partner with you on layout and developers who will implement what you design
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS)
- A degree in HCI Graphic Design Interaction Design a related field or equivalent industry experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX or UI designer preferably in web UX specifically.
- A portfolio of past UX work experience deliverables and innovation
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/SYSTEM EXPERIENCE (NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS)
- A fast worker; somebody who gets to consensus on design within deadlines
- The ability to clearly articulate the need for design and design decisions to diverse
