As our Litigation Legal Assistant you will have the opportunity to advocate for our clients’ interests often in groundbreaking and newsworthy cases.
Compensation:
$50000 $90000 depending on experience
This is a nonexempt position that is eligible for overtime
Key Responsibilities:
Professionally communicate with clients experts courts and defense counsel
Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal courts
Support our attorneys in all phases of litigation
Assist in drafting pleadings and complaints
Manage and calendar court deadlines
Propound and respond to discovery
Maintain organized case files
Qualifications:
2 years of civil litigation experience
Ability to act independently and in a teambased environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Confident in a paperless work environment
Knowledge of eFiling and California rules
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Type at least 40 wpm
