DS Technologies Inc is looking for SCALA Technical Specialist role for one of our premier clients.
Overview:
We are looking for a SCALA Specialist to assist in migrating a legacy cost transparency solution to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires expertise in SCALA to refactor and optimize existing code business logic and rules for smooth integration with GCP services like Spanner. The candidate will work closely with the GCP Architect to ensure the success of the migration.
Responsibilities:
- Refactor and optimize the SCALAbased cost transparency solution for GCP migration.
- Understand and interpret existing SCALA code business rules and logic.
- Collaborate with the GCP Architect to integrate SCALA logic with GCP services like Spanner and Cloud Functions.
- Assist in filtering healthcare procedures associating codes and building cases for cost estimation.
- Ensure the seamless migration of business rules and logic into the new cloud architecture.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SCALA: Deep understanding of functional programming and SCALAs concurrency model (e.g. Futures Actors).
- Code Refactoring: Experience in analyzing and optimizing complex SCALA codebases.
- Business Logic & Rules Understanding: Strong ability to interpret and implement business rules embedded in SCALA code particularly for data processing and cost calculations.
- Data Handling: Familiarity with SCALAbased data structures and libraries (e.g. Akka Play Framework) for managing large datasets.
- Version Control & Build Tools: Familiarity with Git SBT (Scala Build Tool) and continuous integration pipelines.
