Web Developer
About The Job:
The MidLevel Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and websites. This role requires a deep understanding of PHP and JavaScript along with experience in modern web development frameworks and libraries. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problemsolver capable of working both independently and as part of a team to deliver highquality solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Development:
- Design develop and maintain web applications and websites using PHP and JavaScript.
- Write clean efficient and welldocumented code.
- Implement responsive and userfriendly web interfaces.
- Collaborate with designers to translate visual designs into functional web pages.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production environments.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Solutions Architect Senior Developers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. jQuery React Vue.js).
- Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel Symfony) and content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
- Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of modern build tools and workflow automation (e.g. Webpack Gulp).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcarerelated projects.
