Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Install maintain troubleshoot and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment specifically grainhandling systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment according to schedules and standards.
- Fabricate repair and install mechanical components following established safety and operational procedures.
- Assist other Maintenance and Electrical teams as needed to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Perform equipment alignments and calibrations according to industry standards.
- Safely operate welding and cutting equipment including TIG MIG ARC Plasma and Torch tools.
- Adhere to health safety and fire prevention regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman certification with Red Seal or Trade Qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial experience preferably in grain handling or a similar field.
- Strong problemsolving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Experience with material handling systems and conveyor equipment is an asset.
- Proficient in welding rigging (load balancing hand signals) and operating mobile equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and diagrams to guide installation and repairs.
- Knowledge of industrial elevator and cleaning systems is preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Work Conditions:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday rotating shifts (Day: 8 AM to 4 PM Evening: 4 PM to 12 AM).
