Roles and responsibilities
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Executive to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, managing our online presence, and engaging with our audience across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content for our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Social Media Strategy: Assist in the creation and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Community Management: Monitor and respond to audience comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive interactions and community growth.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports on engagement, reach, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Campaign Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our social media efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, customer service) to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
- Ability to create data-driven content strategies that align with brand goals and marketing objectives.
- Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, creative, and design teams to execute cohesive campaigns.
- Strong time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Desired candidate profile
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is mandatory—both written and verbal, with the ability to create content in both languages.
- 1-3 years of experience managing social media accounts for brands, preferably in the F&B or hospitality sectors.
- Proven track record of growing and managing online communities across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Experience in content creation, including mobile photography, video production (with a focus on Reels and TikTok), and graphic design basics.
- Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices, ensuring consistent and impactful audience engagement.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g. Instagram, TikTok Sprout Social, or similar) to track performance and optimize strategies.
- Ability to create data-driven content strategies that align with brand goals and marketing objectives.
