Job Description
Role: Gastroenterology Lab Technician (Allied)
Location: Atlanta Georgia 30342
Shift Type: 8hr Days
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Work closely with gastroenterologists nurses and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and treatment plans.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment ensuring proper calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct various diagnostic tests and procedures related to gastrointestinal health including histological examinations.
- Collect prepare and process biological samples (e.g. biopsies stool specimens) for laboratory analysis
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
1. High School Diploma
2. Basic Life Support (BLS)
3. GTS Certification
4. AGTS Certification
5. Minimum of 2 years experience in Endoscopy
