Position Summary:
Our SRE team has immediate opportunities for passionate software engineers who want their lines of code to have a significant and measurable positive impact on our customers the bottom line and the industry. Working closely with counterparts in the Infrastructure and Dev organizations the SRE org comprises a team of engineers ready to swiftly repair any serviceimpacting issues. 24/7 the SRE team keeps the platform running and our customers protected.
What will you do
As a member of the team your primary objective will be detecting and resolving incidents. This objective is met by monitoring the services reacting to problems and proactively addressing issues before they affect performance or availability. The incumbent in this role:
Would demonstrate a strong focus on tactical operations as well as medium to largescale production engineering and orchestration experience.
Would help improve reliability quality and timetomarket of our suite of software solutions
Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple largescale distributed software applications
Would be proactive at identifying problems performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Would be someone with experience in software release and change management processes.
Would be someone with the ability to program (structured and OOP) using one or more highlevel languages such as Python Java C/C Ruby and JavaScript.
Would be someone with experience in managing distributed systems Cloud Environments AWS GCP and dynamic resource management frameworks (Kubernetes).
Would be someone with experience in monitoring and observability systems (Dynatrace)
Would have an investigative mind.
Is someone who is confident in the face of complexity and scale
