Job Description
We are looking for anElectrical Automation Engineer Prototyping and Safety for a consulting assignment with one of our clients. This role involves working with both electrical installations and safety systems in an innovative project environment. The ideal candidate will be a versatile engineer who enjoys both handson tasks and designing technical solutions in a dynamic lab setting.
Responsibilities:
Electrical Installation and Infrastructure
- Manage electrical installations and infrastructure including work on electrical cabinets.
- Install prototype rigs and create Eplan drawings for various projects.
- Build integrate and install prototypes.
- Perform practical tasks such as cable cutting soldering conducting quality checks and debugging.
Automation and Safety Systems
- Configure program and design safety systems.
- Ensure that all installations and systems comply with the Machinery Directive.
- Handle safety components and perform calculations of performance level/SIL.
Skills and Experience:
- Solid experience in programming safety equipment.
- Strong knowledge of the Machinery Directive and safety components.
- Experience in calculating performance level/SIL.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience and appropriate educational background.
Meritorious:
- Certification in functional/machinery safety.
