Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: South Amboy NJ 08879
Payrate: $30/hr
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guarantee Hours: 35
Days: Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat
Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in assessing patients and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
