Position Receptionist / Office Assistant
Summary A wellestablished Japanese company is seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist / Office Assistant. The ideal candidate will handle front desk duties provide general office support assist with various administrative tasks and support basic accounting functions. This role requires strong communication skills and fluency in both English and Japanese.
Essential Duties - Greet and assist visitors ensuring a welcoming and professional front office atmosphere.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage mail couriers and other deliveries.
- Perform basic administrative duties such as data entry filing and document management.
- Provide support to the accounting department with tasks such as processing invoices reconciling expense reports and data entry into accounting software.
- Assist in managing petty cash and handling officerelated expenses.
- Support various departments with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Working Hours Working style Monday Friday; 8:30 (or 8:00) 14:30
Direct hire parttime
Woking Location Torrance CA
Salary/Benefit $23 $24/hour
Holidays Saturdays & Sundays Major US Holidays
Qualifications - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook); experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Friendly professional demeanor with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and experience with invoicing or expense reporting is a big plus.
