Your Mission
As a Sales Manager (f/m/x) you will be responsible for the entire B2B sales process from prospecting to closing. Youll engage with potential carbon credit buyers and build strong relationships to successfully guide clients through the sales pipeline. Youll have the opportunity to work alongside the team on an innovative gotomarket strategy in a dynamic and rapidly growing market. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of corporate sustainability strategies and comes from a similar position in the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) or brings combined experience in CSR and sales possibly with documented sales leadership experience.
Your Impact
- Business Development: Identify potential carbon credit buyers and reseller partners establish connections nurture and qualify leads to expand our pipeline.
- Sales: Take ownership of our sales pipeline converting leads into customers to drive our revenue growth and expand our reach across the DACH region.
- Partnerships: Build and develop relationships throughout the carbon buyer ecosystem with partners resellers and influencers to grow our overall network and business.
- Innovation: Explore creative ways to reach potential clients from developing sales materials to testing new GTM channels in collaboration with our awesome marketing team.
- Customer Insights: Share customer and market insights to support product development and assist marketing in gotomarket (GTM) efforts working closely with them.
- Processes: Design and streamline sales concepts and methods using tools and automation to drive scalable sales processes (Note: HubSpot is already in operation).
Qualifications
- Proven success in business development and scaling a sales function.
- Experience in sustainability ideally in the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) and with naturebased carbon solutions.
- Eagerness to take responsibility for building out the sales organization motivating the sales team and growing into such a role or documented experience in this area.
- Confident networker with consultative and socialselling skills aimed at senior stakeholders in midsized and large companies.
- Selfmotivated with a strong sense of responsibility and excitement for the potential growth within our startup.
- Familiar with HubSpot LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales (automation) tools.
- Creative collaborative and actionoriented mindset with a handson approach.
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
- Based in Austria or Germany with the ability and willingness to travel when necessary (e.g. to major clients events trade shows meetups WEF Davos etc.).
