AGG has an immediate opening for a Data Scientist Contractor
- Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python R and ETL processes to support data transformation data structures metadata dependency and workload management.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in an Agile environment including participating in Scrum and Kanban methodologies to execute projects and deliver highquality software solutions.
- Integrate user interfaces with backend services utilizing frameworks such as Angular or React to create seamless and responsive applications.
- Manage both relational and NoSQL databases ensuring data integrity performance and scalability to meet the application requirements.
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines using tools like Kubernetes Maven Jenkins Stash Ansible and Docker to automate the software delivery process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with programming languages such as Python and R with a strong emphasis on Python for data engineering tasks.
- At least 5 years of data engineering experience including proficiency with SQL NoSQL and big data technologies like Apache Hadoop.
- Proven track record of working in Agile teams and successfully executing projects using Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with user interface frameworks/platforms such as Angular or React and the ability to integrate these with backend services.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices source control management with Git and containerization technologies to support featuredriven development and deployment.
