Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Business Development Participation: Contribute digital media expertise during the business development process and collaborate with cross-agency teams to secure new client accounts.
  • Strategy Alignment: Align search strategies and tactics with digital marketing, industry marketing, field marketing, and advertising, as well as larger online business partners.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, optimize, and communicate critical performance metrics, including ROI, CTR, conversion data, traffic, and bounce rates.
  • SEO/Search Marketing Strategy: Leverage 3-4 years of experience in creating and implementing effective SEO and search marketing strategies, demonstrating expert knowledge of natural search engine listings and algorithms (Google and Bing).
  • Paid Search Expertise: Exhibit a deep understanding of AdWords, Google PLAs, and Bing, along with familiarity with alternative search engines. Communicate paid search fundamentals clearly, including relevant jargon and acronyms.
  • Cross-Channel Media Planning: Deliver comprehensive cross-channel media plans by developing insights, writing briefs, and guiding the plan development process both internally and in collaboration with partner agencies.
  • Lead Strategy Role: Serve as the lead digital media strategist for client accounts, developing and executing strategic recommendations aligned with client objectives.
  • Service Offering Development: Work closely with the Director of Search + Media to refine and expand the agency’s digital media services, including identifying the best tools and platforms for insights and planning, documenting agency processes, and educating personnel on emerging media best practices.

  • Strong market research and communications skills.
  • Ability to synthesize research for business development initiatives, providing a succinct and accurate perspective utilizing effective business writing skills.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and drive efforts in support of new business development and search assignment support on time.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across teams and with clients.
  • A proactive approach to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
