Xogar Games is seeking an experienced 3D Animator with Rigging expertise to join our team on a onemonth contract. This role requires a candidate who can create highquality animations and rigging solutions for our AAA games. The position requires working onsite at our office collaborating closely with the art and development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create fluid and dynamic 3D animations for characters vehicles and environmental elements ensuring they align with gameplay requirements.
- Design and implement character and asset rigs optimizing for both animation control and performance.
- Collaborate with the art team to ensure proper deformation weighting and movement of assets within Unreal Engine.
- Work closely with animators and modelers to ensure assets are productionready and meet performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve rigging and animation issues maintaining high visual fidelity and consistency.
- Optimize animations and rigs for realtime use in Unreal Engine ensuring efficient performance on target platforms.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in 3D animation and rigging for games with a portfolio that demonstrates strong skills in both areas.
- Proficiency in Maya Blender or similar 3D software for animation and rigging.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine for animation and rigging including the use of animation blueprints blend spaces and control rigs.
- Strong understanding of animation principles rigging techniques and realtime optimization for games.
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Available to work onsite for a 1month contract.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in AAA game development or working on racing/combat games.
- Knowledge of motion capture and its integration into game animation pipelines.
- Familiarity with advanced rigging techniques for complex characters and vehicles.
