Title: DataOps Engineer
Duration: 12 months

Client is seeking a highly motivated DataOps Engineer responsible for the engineering implementation and operations of highperformance computing systems and cloud services within a multicloud environment. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of automation toolsets storage technologies and Linux/Windows operating systems to support both onpremises and cloudbased deployments. Expertise in Unix security and privacy AWS identity management Windows identities management and an understanding of Active Directory including RFC 2307 are crucial.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams: Implement and manage applications or solutions leveraging automated tools.
Review architectural diagrams: Implement services based on compute data or security requirements.
Develop automation scripts: Use Python YAML JSON Bash and PowerShell for automating functions.
Automated configuration and deployment: Handle operating systems.
Continuous data management: Develop processes and procedures for data management between different platforms and environments.
Provide thirdlevel support: Assist operational teams with incident and problem management.
Strategic collaboration: Work with architecture teams to support senior managements vision and goals.
Policy adherence: Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies.
Lead troubleshooting efforts: Manage system troubleshooting and break/fix efforts.
Qualifications
Certifications (desirable but not required )
Linux Certifications: RedHat Certified Engineer or Architect
AWS Certifications:
o AWS Certified Solutions Architect
o AWS Certified Solutions Associate
o AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Additional Certifications: Google Professional Collaboration Engineer IBM Spectrum Scale are a plus
Experience
Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree or equivalent education.
IT Experience: 510 years.
Coding Experience: Minimum 5 years with Python YAML JSON Bash and PowerShell.
Cloud Services: 3 years of experience in designing executing and supporting cloud services and environments (AWS Azure).
Linux Systems: 35 years in complex multiuser environment implementations and administration.
CI/CD and Automation Tools: Experience with GIT Jenkins Ansible CloudFormation and Terraform.
Skills
Storage Protocols: Knowledge of block file and object storage protocols (SMB/NFS/Posix/Object Storage) and data protection solutions (RAID snapshots backups replication).
AWS Tools: Proficiency in Systems Manager Config CloudTrail CloudWatch and IAM.
Security Models: Good working knowledge of Linux and Windows security implementations.
Networking: Solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (TCP/IP DNS SMTP HTTP Ethernet InfiniBand).
Identity Management: Familiarity with Unix security and privacy AWS identity management Windows identities management Windows Active Directory LDAP technologies and Network Attached Storage solutions (NetApp Isilon).
Systems Development: Demonstrated experience in largescale enterprise systems development implementation and operations.
