Job Description
Job Title: Telehealth Child Psychologist
Location: Remote
Start Date: Jan 2025
Shift Schedule: Days
Qualification:
- Education: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology
- License: Active and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any state of USA.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or school setting.
- Telehealth experience required
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations specifically tailored to children and adolescents to diagnose cognitive emotional and behavioral conditions.
- Develop and implement therapy and treatment plans for children with emotional behavioral or developmental disorders.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions focused on childrens mental health including family counseling as needed.
- Collaborate with schools parents social workers and healthcare teams to support the childs overall wellbeing.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on feedback from the child family and educators.
- Educate parents and caregivers on effective techniques for managing behavioral or emotional challenges at home.
- Participate in crisis intervention and provide support during mental health emergencies involving children.
