Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Private Credit Managing Director to lead our private credit investment strategies. This individual will play a pivotal role in sourcing executing and managing private credit transactions as well as overseeing a team of investment professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in private credit a deep understanding of capital markets and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Strategy: Develop and implement the private credit investment strategy ensuring alignment with the firms overall goals and objectives.
- Sourcing and Origination: Identify and pursue new investment opportunities through extensive networking industry research and relationshipbuilding with intermediaries and potential borrowers.
- Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process for new investments including financial modeling credit analysis and risk assessment.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of existing investments working closely with portfolio companies to drive value creation and mitigate risk.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of investment professionals fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.
- Investor Relations: Communicate effectively with investors regarding investment performance strategy updates and market trends.
- Market Insights: Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes affecting the private credit landscape providing strategic insights to the firms leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in private credit investment banking or related fields with a proven track record of sourcing and executing deals.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of credit risk assessment and financial modeling.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
- Strong network within the private credit and investment communities.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $200000 $300000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
- Bonus Structure: Performancebased bonus potential typically ranging from 50% to 100% of base salary.
