High Level Description
In a collaboration between Knightec and Dometic we offer a unique thesis opportunity to identify how to improve sustainability impact from the userhardware interaction with digitalization and to develop a solution that promotes sustainable behavior.
Based on Dometics products concept & technology with the support from Knightec you will focus on developing a solution that promotes sustainable behavior for the enduser. Potential areas could be energy management repair & diagnosis but we are open to more suggestions from you!
Project Description/Purpose
- Formulate the challenges scope and plan with Knightec and Dometic.
- Understand users and challenges in context to gather user insights in relation of using Dometic products.
- Analyze and synthesize findings into conclusions and design direction.
- Investigation of success factors. What value does the solution have to deliver for whom
- Ideate prototype and test a multitude of design concepts.
- Development of prototype e.g. app visualizing how the solution would work.
- Evaluate select refine and deliver a final concept and report.
Who are we looking for
- M.Fa / M.Sc student in Interaction design / UXdesign / Product development or equivalent.
- Passion for Usercentric design digiphysical Product development and Circular design.
- Fluent in Swedish and/or English.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Hybrid or full time on site at Knightec Design department in Stockholm.
