Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in testing WiFi Bluetooth (BT) and GPS systems with a focus on Qualcomm and BLE chipsets. This role requires a fastpaced adaptable engineer capable of working with multiple test systems and releases.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test plans scenarios scripts and procedures to ensure the quality and functionality of software and hardware.
- Test system modifications and enhancements to ensure readiness for implementation.
- Develop test programs that address key areas such as database impacts software scenarios and usability.
- Document software defects using bug tracking systems and communicate issues to developers for resolution.
- Identify analyze and document software problems including program functionality output discrepancies or screen content issues.
- Monitor the resolution of software bugs and track progress to ensure fixes are effectively implemented.
- Maintain databases of known test defects for future reference.
- Plan and execute test schedules and strategies in line with project scope and delivery dates.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in WiFi Bluetooth and Signal measurements with a focus on testing Qualcomm and BLE chipsets.
- Experience with QSPR and/or IQFact test packages for WiFi/BT/GPS testing.
- 5 years of experience with L1L5 electrical signal loss Sparameters and other critical signal measurement concepts.
- 34 years of experience in Python or PowerShell scripting languages.
- Experience working with LitePoint or Rhoade & Schwartz hardware.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple test systems/releases releasing code every 6 weeks.
