Job Description
Job Title: QA Engineer Automated
Location: REMOTE (Within Texas state ONLY)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Key Responsibilities:- Perform software quality assurance testing and support for social services applications.
- Develop and execute test plans and scenarios for various webbased J2EE/Portal applications.
- Participate in requirements analysis test design and test data preparation.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve project goals and troubleshoot software applications.
- Create technical and design documentation as necessary.
- Utilize contemporary testing methods to ensure the proper functioning of applications.
- Provide technical support for testing and implementation.
- Participate in design coding and test walkthrough meetings to align on technical standards and customer requirements.
- experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC) including Agile methodologies.
- experience and knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems IT equipment programming languages and computer hardware/software.
- experience in analyzing requirements user stories acceptance criteria and creating test plans and scenarios.
- experience analyzing software applications identifying defects and resolving business problems with innovative solutions.
- experience with tools such as HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) Katalon HP LoadRunner SoapUI LoadUI Selenium HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) HP Product Portfolio Management (PPM) SQL and XML.
- experience working with Agile principles and methodologies.
- handson experience in software quality assurance (manual or automated testing) using tools like UFT SoapUI Selenium ALM PPM JIRA JAMA and PLSQL.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of programming and testing concepts especially within Webbased UI applications.
- Ability to analyze software applications and defects drawing evidencebased conclusions.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining test plans and technical documentation.
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Graduation from an accredited fouryear college or university with major coursework in computer science computer information systems engineering or management information systems is strongly preferred.
