Job Description

Job Title: Project Leader Transition Amsterdam

Location: Amsterdam North Holland Netherlands

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extensions

Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (combination of onsite and remote work)

Job Summary: A Project Leader is needed to manage the transition of Amsterdam s water tasks into a new organization separating from the Water Board Amstel Gooi and Vecht (AGV). The role involves preparing the implementation decision and elishing the new organization requiring close collaboration with the program director and internal experts.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the implementation decision on behalf of Amsterdam.
  • Elish the new organization for Amsterdam s water tasks.
  • Design and structure the new organization in coordination with the Water Department.
  • Manage personnel transitions including formation functions and roles.
  • Develop management style and governance philosophy.
  • Define mission vision and strategy for Amsterdam s water tasks.
  • Implement systems and processes including IT support.
  • Foster the desired organizational culture.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with reorganization processes in local/regional governments.
  • Experience with business operations reorganization (IT finance).
  • Demonstrable administrative sensitivity in reorganization processes.
  • Good command of the Dutch language both spoken and written.
  • Strong connecting ss to bridge gaps between board management and administrative organizations.
  • ytical ss to separate main and side issues.
  • Excellent communication and writing ss capable of presenting at an administrative level and preparing clear reports and proposals.

Competencies:

  • Ability to connect between different stakeholders.
  • Broad ytical ss.
  • Strong communication and writing abilities.
