Job Posting: Yacht & Boat Service Engineer / Mechanic
Location: Bahrain
Employment Type: Fulltime
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in marine or yacht services
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a dedicated Yacht & Boat Service Engineer / Mechanic to join their marine services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance and repair of yachts and boats ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance repairs and troubleing of mechanical and electrical systems on yachts and boats.
- Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify issues in engines propulsion systems and onboard equipment.
- ist in the installation of new systems and upgrades as per client specifications.
- Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and regulations during all service activities.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and project timelines.
- Prepare detailed reports and doentation related to service work including maintenance logs and performance ysis.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients regarding technical issues service updates and recommendations.
- Participate in sea trials and vessel commissioning to verify the performance and safety of systems.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in marine engineering and maintenance.
Key Ss and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine services with handson experience in yacht and boat maintenance and repair.
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in mechanical systems engines electrical systems and hydraulics used in yachts and boats.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertaining to marine vessels.
- Strong troubleing problemsolving and ytical ss.
- Excellent communication ss and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Willingness to travel and work onboard vessels as needed.
