Job Description:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and thought partner to Medical Centers frontline managers driving forward our people strategies and supporting organizational goals. Reporting to the Human Resources Director the HRBP ensures that igned client groups are aligned with the Medical Centers strategic plan and people strategy while upholding core values
.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and tactical HR support to igned client groups aligning with the Medical Centers financial and talent objectives.
Advise and collaborate with frontline managers on peoplerelated matters ensuring organizational alignment with core strategies.
Develop implement and manage HR programs that enhance employee engagement retention and overall organizational effectiveness.
Address and resolve complex employee relations issues including conducting investigations and providing guidance on performance management disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
Partner with union leadership and management to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements maintaining a productive labor relations environment.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating on workforce development talent acquisition and succession planning initiatives.
Ensure compliance with local state and federal employment laws and regulations maintaining accurate doentation and reports as needed.
Support HR Director in organizational development change management initiatives and workforce planning efforts.
Act as an advocate for employees handling confidential matters with sensitivity and discretion.
Occasionally work night/weekend hours to support a 24/7 operation (e.g. investigations counseling).
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
o 5 years of HR Business Partner experience preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
o Union experience required.
Education:
o Bachelors degree in human resources or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ss:
o Strong interpersonal oral and written communication ss.
o Critical thinking and decisive judgment abilities.
o Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.
o Effective in stressful situations and able to work with limited supervision.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
PHR/SPHR or SHRMCP/SHRMSCP certification preferred.
Work Schedule:
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MondayFriday.
Flexibility required for occasional night/weekend work to support a 24/7 operation.
Onsite position with travel to offcampus clinics in the Missoula area as needed.
NicetoHave:
Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
