Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in Medicine
- Specialist training in Paediatrics (via MIR or equivalent)
Experience and knowledge:

- Experience in Paediatric Haematology Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation (during or postresidency)
Desired:

Main responsibilities and duties:
The Paediatric Haematology and Oncology Division of Vall dHebron Hospital treats around 120 children and adolescents with cancer per year as well as up to 500 new patients with haematological conditions and performs 50 stem cell transplantations. The unit is part of the European Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer (ITCC) consortium and has an ambitious clinical research programme including early and late phase trials a personalised medicine programme and multiple lines of research in stem cell transplant sarcomas neuroblastoma CNS tumours and nonmalignant haematology. All research is conducted through the Translational Research in Child and Adolescent Cancer Group of VHIR. There are 30 early phase and 18 late phase clinical trials ongoing. The candidate will join a very active team of 18 paediatric haematology and oncology consultants 3 study coordinators 2 data managers and 1 research nurse and be involved in the daytoday conduct of late phase clinical trials and patient registries.

- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and ss. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
