Job description:

One of the worlds leading defense contractors is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Combat Mission Systems business. The Electrical Engineer supports the development testing fabrication and fielding of highly complex military equipment.

• In this role the Electrical Engineer: researches plans designs develops modifies and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components.
• Utilizing advanced modeling and ysis tools to develop product specifications models simulations technical data packages and integration and verification procedures.
• Evaluates vendor capabilities technologies services and their ability to deliver required products or services
• The qualified candidate will work under minimal supervision of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems ranging from combat vehicles gun systems and guided munitions. The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering ysis of components subsystems and systems for military product application.

Required Ss:

High level ytical ability to solve complex technical design and development problems

Performs technical ysis testing calculations and evaluation of results to solve complex engineering/scientific problems using specialized equipment and/or by creating computer programs models or simulations.

Ability to create and manage interface control doents and design doentation in accordance with applicable engineering standards military specifications and product requirements by yzing and interpreting requirements/specifications results.

Ability to perform circuit simulation (Pe or LTe)

High levels of communication ss to prepare and present status report and technical results to project lead internal management and external customers.

Preferred Ss:

Handson troubleing of circuits using oscilloscopes and multimeters

Familiarity with MATLAB Simulink Pe LabVIEW Test Stand RS485 JTag CANBus

Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio

Experience Required:

Experience with og and digital circuit design and ysis

Experience developing technical doentation such as drawings reports & technical ysis

Experience Preferred:

Experience with engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable emblies for military systems.

Experience with integrating Field Programmable Gate Arrays and development of electronic control logic.

Education Required:

Typically requires 4 years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
