Job Description
Job Title: CPE Network Trouble er
Location: Englewood CO% on site Other Requirements:
- If not local must be willing to relocate within 23 weeks maximum relocation istance will not be provided
- Must be willing and able to work 100% onsite
- Must be very strong in DOCSIS Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and troubleing / debugging CPE
Number of Positions: 5
JOB OVERVIEW
- Troubles and resolves escalated Access and CPE device field issues.
- Performs essments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.
- Elishes security connectivity and access parameters.
- Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
- Tests and tunes security devices and systems.
- Programs routers and switches. Implements communications technologies (data or voice).
- Manages network services from planning phase through implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid knowledge of routing protocols network hardware and software security technologies and network infrastructure is required.
- 10 years of experience.
- Experience working with DOCSIS ONU CMTS DAC EC Troubleing Debugging and CPE (Customer Premise Equipment)
Additional Ssets being sought:
- Advanced knowledge of the DOCSIS and EPON standards
Working knowledge of CMTS platforms including:
- Casa C100G
- Arris E6000
- Cisco cBR8
- RPHY
- Harmonic vCMTS and RPDs
- Vecima RPDs
Working knowledge of EPON platforms including:
- ADTRAN 95XX and SDX6210
- Vecima (Nokia) 7360 and Distributed Access Architecture SF4x SC2D3
Working knowledge of switch platforms including:
- Cisco NCS/ASR
- Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX
Working knowledge of routing protocols including:
- OSPF
- ISIS
- BGP
- v4/v6 Multicast
- Ability to write technical doentation
- Ability to write and follow detailed technical test plans
- CPE and ONU background in trouble ing is highly desirable
- Creative Network Trouble ing Ss.
