RN - Unit Manager

We are hiring a Unit Manager RN for one of our clients in Lebanon PA.

Job Description:

As a Unit Manager/Director RN where within an igned unit you will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of highquality care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/resident family and employee satisfaction.

• Lead guide and direct the overall operations coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an igned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission vision values and policies of Genesis HealthCare and in accordance with accepted standards of practice state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff physicians rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on igned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in igned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel recruiting and orientating staff essing the work performance of nursing staff and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing college or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Work Hours:

• Shift: First Shift
• 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Meal: 30 minutes

Notes:

• May need to take med cart if there is a scheduling issue.
• Includes on call weekend rotation.
• Completion bonus for 8 week contract.
• No more than 2 call outs and no NCNS or the bonus will be voided.
