The Supply Planning yst is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of finished goods to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels. The role involves yzing demand forecasts maintaining accurate master data and supporting weeksofsupply inventory targets at distribution centers. The yst leverages tools such as SAP to facilitate accurate planning and inventory management while driving continuous improvements in supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management:
Generate review and manage purchase orders to ensure the timely delivery of finished goods adhering.
Collaborate with comanufacturers through various channels (email EDI) to resolve discrepancies and expedite orders to prevent stockouts.
Regularly review open purchase orders to ensure alignment with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and supplier or production needs.
Inventory Management:
Utilize statistical models to set minimum maximum and reorder points optimizing inventory levels to balance availability and carrying costs.
Monitor finished goods inventory to avoid overstock or stockouts and ensure optimal stock rotation.
Perform regular reviews of age of stock to mitigate risks from slowmoving inventory ensuring timely disposition or liquidation when necessary.
Master Data & MRP Management:
Maintain and update planningrelated master data within SAP to ensure accurate material requirement planning (MRP).
Identify and correct discrepancies in master data that may cause inefficiencies or inaccuracies in supply planning.
4. Demand Forecasting & Data ysis:
yze historical data and apply forecasting tools to ist in production scheduling and ensure the availability of materials.
Evaluate upstream supply chain processes to identify costsaving opportunities and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
23 years of experience in supply planning purchasing or manufacturing operations.
Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (with a focus on Excel).
Experience working with MRP systems and a datadriven approach to supply chain planning.
