Salary: $ 156500.00

We have partnered with a civil engineering firm in the Columbus OH to provide them with a Director of Ohio Region. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Ss for the Director of Ohio Region:

#1. Must have PE License

#2. 10 years of experience in bridge or roadway design and related transportation structures and facilities

#3. No more than three jobs in the past 10 years.

#4. Experience preparing roadway/structure plans for ODOT projects

#5. Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.

#6. Must have a valid drivers license.

Requirements of the Director:

• Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) is essential.
• Licensing: Must hold a P.E. License with at least a decade of experience in bridge or roadway design and ociated transportation structures and facilities.
• Leadership Experience: Prior experience in managing or supervising within an engineering environment is advantageous.
• Client Relations: Experience in business and client development within the state and local civil engineering sector is preferred.
• Budget Management: Competence in preparing and managing project budgets is necessary.
• Proposal Development: Experience in drafting technical proposal responses is required.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with preparing roadway and structure plans for ODOT projects is important.
• Communication Ss: Strong technical writing and verbal communication ss are needed.
• Software Knowledge: Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is required.
• Licensing: A valid drivers license is necessary.
• Organizational Ss: Must be highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Time Management: Excellent time management ss are required.
• Project Management: Previous experience in project management is beneficial though not mandatory.

Other Key Requirements:

• 100% onsite inoffice work
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No CorptoCorp.
• This position has a work schedule that is not strictly a traditional 85 workday and may include evening meetings and some conferences requiring travel and overnight stays.
