Job Summary:
ITP Media Group is looking for a Group Editor will oversee the digital content strategy development and for our websites podcast and video series. This role demands a forwardthinking editor who excels in digital content creation across mediums and has a deep understanding of digital traffic growth. The ideal candidate will drive the digital transformation of our publications ensuring our content is engaging authoritative and aligns with the latest industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for websites and video platforms.
- Ensure alignment of content strategy with business goals and audience needs.
- Monitor and yse industry trends to keep content relevant and forwardthinking.
Editorial Leadership:
- Lead mentor and manage a team of editors and writers.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative editorial environment.
- Oversee the editorial calendars ensuring timely and highquality content production across mediums.
Digital Transformation:
- Spearhead the shift towards a digitalfirst content model.
- Implement best practices for SEO content management and digital engagement.
- Optimize content for various digital channels including social media newsletters and multimedia formats.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Maintain high editorial standards across all content.
- Oversee factchecking and editing processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Audience Engagement:
- Develop strategies to grow and engage our audience across digital and social platforms.
- Utilize ytics tools to measure content performance and audience engagement.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve content quality.
Collaboration and Networking:
- Work closely with the marketing sales and design teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry experts contributors and partners.
- Represent the company at industry events conferences and media appearances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in journalism communications or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 12 years of editorial experience with a significant focus on digital content across mediums.
- Proven track record in growing traffic in B2B and/or niche industry media.
- Strong leadership and team management ss.
- Excellent writing editing and proofreading abilities.
- Proficient in content management systems (CMS) SEO best practices and digital ytics tools.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
