Job Description
Position: Chartered Quantity Surveyor
Work Location: Maldives
Role and Responsibilities:
Prepare tender and contract doents including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
ist in elishing a clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
Undertake cost ysis for construction and maintenance project work.
Perform risk value management and cost control during the different construction phase to ensure construction process is within the budget and cost.
Identify yze and develop responses to commercial risks.
Prepare and Lead on procurement strategy. Maintain up to date procurement schedules.
Ensure robust accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level.
Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place.
Carry out cost management including forecasting Update the monthly CVR cost and commercial plans and have accountability along with the project team for the commercial performance and strategy.
Provide advice on contractual terms and conditions.
Value completed work and prepare bills for submission to the client.
Report progress to senior management.
Work closely with contract and site management staff to support the smooth running of the office and the site carrying out other duties as required
Requirements
Ss and experience
8 15 years experience in a Quantity Surveying background is required with good knowledge of the construction industry.
The candidate will be expected to have good IT ss and be literate in Excel.
Knowledge of well used Accounting software Microsoft Project Revit Navisworks and CAD would be beneficial.
Must be a Registered Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
