Job Description

Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Broken Arrow OK
Pay: $20/hr DOE
Shift: Night Shift 5:30 PM 3 AM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a sed Maintenance Technician to join our team in Broken Arrow. This role is crucial for maintaining the functionality and safety of our property and equipment ensuring smooth operations in our manufacturing and office facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and ess all equipment machinery and systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage the repair of shop equipment within cost guidelines.
  • Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance as directed.
  • ist in maintaining the cleanliness of grounds and facilities as igned.
  • Prepare facility doentation and work orders as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Adhere to HSE rules and regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work with little supervision while maintaining a collaborative relationship with coworkers.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as cranes forklifts welding tools and scissor lifts.

Essential Ss & Experience:

  • Electrical Experience: Knowledge of 460 VAC 3 Phase Power systems A/C & DC motor controls drives and VFDs.
  • Testing Proficiency: Ability to read and understand a multimeter for testing electrical systems.
  • Wiring Schematics: Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
  • Maintenance Expertise: Handson experience with the maintenance and repair of welding machines electric hand tools and positioning equipment.
  • Forklift Repair: Required experience with forklift repair.

Preferred Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to frequently inspect equipment climb stairs or ladders and maintain balance without istance.
  • Must be able to stoop kneel and crouch to complete tasks in various environments including tight spaces.
  • Must communicate effectively with coworkers and respond to emergency cues/alarms.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in outdoor conditions and loud environments using required PPE (fireant clothing helmets face shields hearing protection safety goggles and steeltoed boots).
