Job Description
Respite care is a special name for short term caregivers. Respite care can take place in a client s home and special day center.
Nonmedical transport is defined as transportation provided by private or public vehicle for
people who do not have a way to get to their appointments or weekend programs. Employees
are compensated for the cost of transportation at 0.65 a mile.
Individual client is evaluated and then provided with a program to help them learn new ss.
Requirements
As a personal istant you will help teach ss and take clients to their outings.
These ss range from:
Personal grooming
Meal Preparation
Housekeeping
Support to learn how to be independent in travel or getting transportation
Development of appropriate social ss
Selfadvocacy
Informed choice ss
