What you will be doing:

• Uses knowledge of laboratory science to perform the most complex clinical testing as defined by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIAA 88) providing safe and effective patient care.
• Maintains strict safety and infection control techniques at all times
• Practices develops and endorses customer service ss in relationships with internal and external customers.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities as igned.
• Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety quality of care or the services delivered.
• Follows elished guidelines for reporting a significant medical error or unanticipated outcome in the patients care which result in patient harm. Uses occurrence reporting system to report potential patient safety issues.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Laboratory Information System.
• Completes all mandatory education requirements.
• Uses Performance Improvement Plan to improve patient safety.
• Regular punctual and dependable attendance.
• "Call" responsibilities.
• Ensures orientation of new staff.
• umes authority accountability and responsibility.
• Participates in crossorganizational activities.
• Formulates reviews and/or revises departmental policies.
• Demonstrates the ability to anticipate departmental needs.

Experience you will need:

• 3 years’ experience Required Years of Experience
• Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Florida Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Supervisor
